What does it do?

The Design Five Content Management System (CMS) has all the features required to build and manage your own website. It includes editor tools and site management features to help you easily create, update and delete content, including text, links and  pictures. The fully featured ecommerce system allows you to easily turn your website into an online store, selling digital or physical products and collecting payments through a variety of online payment methods, such as Google Checkout.

WYSIWYG Editor

A What You See Is What You Get (WYSIWYG) editor does pretty much what it says on the tin. It provides a familar interface allowing you to change your website content without any specialist knowledge.

Revision Control

Your website will keep track of old versions of articles you add and allow you to easily switch between current and previous versions. This means that it is much harder for you to lose that document you have been working on for hours!

Forms

Forms can be added to your website to give your users a fast, reliable way to contact you. The forms are emailed to an address you specify. This address is not revealed to the users. Spam control cuts out large quantities of false submissions, meaning less wasted time spent filtering out spam manually.

Blogs

Add a blog to your website to provide users with a regularly updated feed. A fast, hassle-free way to get content onto the web. Blogs optionally support threaded comments from your visitors that can be moderated, restricted to registered users or closed altogether. 

User Tracking

Do you want to see which parts of your website are most popular and who's visiting them? We offer two tracking options: Firstly, Google Analytics integration has been made as simple as possible, all you need to know is your UA number (given to you by Google when you sign up for Analytics). Secondly, we also offer a custom tracking option, allowing you to track the registered users on your website. If you'd like to know more about this option please get in contact with us.

Galleries

Add as many galleries to your website as you like. Use the batch image uploader to quickly create large galleries. Use the drag and drop image rearrangement to quickly get the pictures in the order you want. Images uploaded to galleries on your website are automatically resized and compressed for optimum web viewing.

Permissions

You can define the access permissions to almost all elements of your website. Permissions are defined on a group basis, so any users that you add to a group get the permissions available to that group of users. Easily configurable default settings allow for instant sweeping changes to access rights.

Product Listing & Order Controls

Using our ecommerce extensions you're able to set up an online shop to sell your products directly. Payments are taken via Google Checkout providing you with a low cost solution, and your customers with peace of mind that their details are in safe hands.

Level 2 integration with Google Checkout is also supported allowing you to keep track of orders on your own website, removing the need to use the Google Merchant Center.

Product Registration

With our product registration software you're able to keep track of which products are owned by which users. When purchases are made from your online store a serial number is generated and securely stored in your websites database.

Events

Using our events software you're able to advertise and sell tickets for upcoming events. Once the ticket purchase deadline has passed or the tickets are sold out the software will stop selling tickets.
